We have the most beautiful, welcoming space for our patients and their caregivers, and the furniture that we chose from Living Revolution has contributed to fulfilling our design ethos of healing by design.

We are so thankful to have this furniture blueprint for our office, and as we expand our practices, we plan to replicate what we have in Naperville as a part of our branded look. We look forward to a long relationship with Living Revolution!

The Story

Aurora Pediatric Therapy & Integrative Health (APTIH) specializes in providing Autism diagnostic and therapy services as well as speech language pathology, behavioral, mental health, physical, occupational, and feeding services for children aged 0-21.

APITH chose Living Revolution as their furniture procurement partner due to our deep relationship with a premier healthcare partner, OFS, the parent company of Carolina. Carolina products were chosen for the majority of this project due to their ease of customization with fabrics and materials; portable, multi-use functionality, and aesthetic matching the clean, modern, airy space. Additionally, pieces such as the Hex honeycomb ottoman suit the clinicians and caregivers as they move around the area to best accommodate the patient.

In this intentional design, no stone was left unturned— even the mother’s room. The team selected furnishings like the Kyte rocker for a soothing motion accommodating nursing mothers and children in a tranquil environment.

When curating furnishings for APITH, much consideration was given to the needs of the neurodiverse patients they’d be treating. Taking note of high and low stimulus, contrast, brightness, and cleanliness—our goal was to create a space where the children and caregivers could feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe.
