To meet budget goals, both projects were handled remotely—yet executed seamlessly through proactive coordination and trusted execution.
THE STORY
Situated along the Charles River in Dedham, Massachusetts, Newbridge on the Charles offers a unique blend of luxury living and comprehensive healthcare, supported by its affiliation with Harvard Medical School. The community provides a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. To elevate their offerings, Newbridge undertook a renovation of Villas B and C, followed by updates to their assisted living and memory care residences. Partnering with Perkins Eastman to refresh the interiors, they selected Living Revolution to manage FF&E procurement and installation across both renovation phases.
Although the client didn’t require an onsite project manager, Living Revolution managed every detail remotely—without compromise. By working hand-in-hand with the installation team’s foreman and leveraging digital tools like FaceTime and real-time project management software, we ensured smooth communication, instant reporting, and rapid follow-up from afar. This flexible, tech-forward approach allowed the client to forgo added travel and staffing costs—a unique option not often provided by competitors.
In face of a manufacturing issue with one of the furnishings, we leveraged our close vendor relationships to resolve it quickly and efficiently—ensuring the client experienced no delays or added burden. This level of responsiveness, even without a team member physically on-site, highlights the strength of our process-driven approach, reliable communication channels, and the trust we’ve built with manufacturing partners across the country.
Furnishings throughout the villas and memory care spaces were thoughtfully selected to prioritize both style and function. A standout piece was the Kristen Bench by H Contract, bringing a tailored elegance to the space while reinforcing functionality. Other featured partners included Ratana, Kwalu, Bernhardt, Kellex, and Fairfield Chair—brands known for quality and performance in senior living environments.
Living Revolution’s ability to deliver on two phases of renovation remotely demonstrates our nationwide reach and dedication to providing high-quality, tailored service for each project. By maintaining constant communication, leveraging technology, and utilizing trusted vendor relationships, we ensured that Newbridge on the Charles received a beautiful, functional space that met their needs—without compromise.
