Viva Bene St. Peters

Living Revolution partnered with Avenue Development to help redefine active adult living at Viva Bene. By combining multifamily-inspired design with functional, wellness-focused furnishings, we created spaces that support an active, engaged 55+ lifestyle.

Located in St. Peters, Missouri, Viva Bene is a first-of-its-kind active adult community designed to support healthy, engaged lifestyles through intentional space planning and amenity-rich experiences. Developed by Avenue Development, the community reimagines senior living by integrating preventive health and wellness programming with social engagement, all within one environment.

Stepping into their vision, Living Revolution was chosen as the specification and procurement partner due to our deep expertise in the nuanced needs of the active adult market. Avenue Development sought a partner who understood that this environment is neither traditional senior living nor standard multifamily, but a thoughtful blend of the two. To ensure product confidence, our team coordinated guided walkthroughs of multiple manufacturer showrooms at the Merchandise Mart, allowing the client to touch, test, and experience furnishings firsthand before final selections were made.

Throughout the project, Living Revolution navigated several logistical and budgetary challenges while keeping the design intent intact. A severe winter snowstorm disrupted warehouse operations and reduced labor availability during installation, threatening the project schedule. Our team responded by working extended hours and coordinating additional installation visits with smaller crews to minimize delays. We also collaborated closely with the client to identify alternate fabric options that preserved the desired aesthetic while keeping upholstered pieces within budget.

Beyond installation, Living Revolution continued to support the community through its first year of occupancy by managing warranty claims as they arose, reinforcing our commitment to long-term partnership rather than one-time delivery.

One of the project’s most impactful moments came through collaboration with a local custom furniture manufacturer to design a multifunctional piece for the community’s activity room. The custom solution features movable tabletops and integrated storage, enabling flexibility for demonstrations, classes, and group programming—supporting Viva Bene’s wellness-focused mission in a tangible, everyday way.

This project underscores Living Revolution’s ability to support emerging models within the active adult market through thoughtful product selection, proactive problem-solving, and a deep understanding of wellness-driven environments.
