St. Joseph’s Hospital, a nationally ranked and award-winning hospital, recently renovated its campus and engaged Living Revolution to develop a standardized furniture program for its Emergency Department.
The ER presents unique challenges compared to other healthcare spaces. Furniture must withstand high traffic, frequent cleaning, and rapid patient turnover, while supporting staff efficiency and maintaining a welcoming, upscale environment. Living Revolution carefully specified products that prioritize durability, clean-ability, and ergonomic performance without compromising design.
The scope included furniture for private offices, waiting areas, exam rooms, and nurses’ stations. Each selection was evaluated for material performance, infection control standards, and ease of maintenance, ensuring the environment supports both clinical operations and patient comfort.
